Her pants come, and they go… the Houdini singer and worldwide traveler Dua Lipa was spotted in public yesterday in London, doing press for her upcoming album, Radical Optimism.
She was dressed, as usual, in a trendsetting combination: a killer green Ferragamo trench coat, paired with a simple black zip-up sweater and high-waist black briefs, also all Ferragamo. She finished off the look with pointed-toe knee-high black boots, Tiffany earrings, and a Prada buckle bag.
Everyone from Kendall Jenner to Kristen Stewart has given their take on the pantsless trend that became popular last year. But Lipa’s version has the refined edge and casual cool that only the British superstar can bring. Her look also feels more lived-in, perhaps because her energy is one that makes sense for wearing knickers as pants.
Lipa is generally not one to shy away from wearing adventurous fashion pieces and often helps set trends herself. Her fashion throughout Radical Optimism’s press tour has been decidedly more relaxed, with casual trench coats and wide-leg jeans making appearances. But Lipa’s through line has been her stunning outerwear, and this Ferragamo leather trench is no different.
Lipa’s latest look comes amid more music news. The singer just announced via Instagram and her community text line that her newest single, “Illusion,” will drop April 11. This is the third single to come from her upcoming third studio album.
