How Travis Kelce Responded to Questions About Dating Taylor Swift

During an interview with Travis Kelce, NFL+ host Andrew Siciliano tried to get some more info out of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end about his rumored relationship with Taylor Swift. In particular, the interviewer was curious about Kelce admitting he tried to get his number to Swift on a friendship bracelet while she was in Kansas City for her Eras Tour. Kelce used all his skills to divert the conversation.

Siciliano began by asking, “The only thing anyone really wants to talk about is Taylor Swift. Did you really have your phone number ready on a friendship bracelet to give to Taylor?”

Travis replied, “I said what I said. And I meant what I said when I said it. And you know what, it is what it is. I’m not gonna talk about my personal life…I know what you writers wanna hear, and you wanna hear more about that and I’m not gonna give you anything.”

Unswayed, Siciliano pressed, “Has she reached out?”

“And that’s gonna wrap it up here,” Kelce responded.

Earlier this week, a source told ET that there is nothing official going on between Kelce and Swift, though they are spending time together.

“Travis has been into Taylor for a while and definitely has a crush on her,” the insider said. “He is a simple guy that is very funny, charismatic, chill, and loves playing football.”

The bracelet story was shared in July on Kelce’s podcast, New Heights. The NFL star told his brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, about attending Swift’s show at Arrowhead Stadium.

“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” he began. “So I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.”

Kelce explained, “If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets. I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it.”

He added, “She doesn’t meet anybody, or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal.”
