All the Times Gisele Bündchen Congratulated Tom Brady for Winning the Super Bowl

Culture

Gisele Bündchen has been with Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady officially since 2007, including during his run with the New England Patriots. And because the Patriots had great luck (among other things) and now the Buccaneers do, Bündchen has had five opportunities since then to write mushy Instagram tributes congratulating her husband and his team for winning the Super Bowl: first in 2015, then again in 2017, almost in 2018 (they lost, but she still posted), once more in 2019, and now in 2021, during Brady’s first season with Tampa Bay.

A Super Bowl championship reign may only last a year, but Insta tributes are forever. Here are all the ones Bündchen has given her husband.

Right after the game, Bündchen posted a short message—”We are so proud of you daddy!!! Congratulations!!!!”—alongside a dramatic photo, marking the Patriots’ first victory she witnessed as Brady’s partner:

2017: The Snuggle Shot

Two years later, Bündchen got to do her second tribute as Brady’s devoted wife. This one had a lot of hashtags and another affectionate shot. “Wonderful things come to those who work hard with focus, tireless dedication and who never stop believing. Forever grateful for this moment. Congratulations my love!!#neverstopbeliving#lovemovesmountains #dedication #family#thankyouGod,” she wrote.

2018: The “You Lost But I’m Still Proud” Consolation ‘Gram

Last year when the Patriots went to the Super Bowl but lost, Bündchen shared a post of her hugging Brady with language quite similar to her past victory tributes. She wrote, “Congratulations Eagles for winning the Super bowl, what a game that was! Congratulations Patriots for giving your best and to my love, we are incredibly proud of you because we are able to see every day all the commitment, sacrifice and hard work that you have devoted to become the best in what you do. We love you!”

2019: Just Another Year of Winning

Bündchen took the evening to think out the words and two photos she wanted to use to celebrate Brady’s victory this year. She posted her Instagram this morning, which read, “What a special night. Congratulations Patriots! Congratulations my love! Your tireless commitment, discipline and hard work never seizes to amaze me. We love you!”

2021: The Family Portrait and Long, Long Caption

Bündchen took almost a day to construct her Instagram post to Brady following his first Super Bowl victory as a Tampa Bay Buccaneer. But she shared one of her longest tributes to him ever to mark the occasion.

She wrote:

Congratulations Bucs for an incredible team win last night!!!
A lot of people didn’t believe you could do it, but you all showed that with time, dedication, trust in one another and with teamwork anything is possible.

Congratulations my love! Over the years I have seen you overcome so much adversity, physically and emotionally. I can for sure say you are the most dedicated, focused and mentally tough person I have ever meet. It has been a challenging year and watching you in a new environment, putting in the extra time to get to know and support your teammates, working with your new coaches with respect and grace, waking up extra early every day to deal with the bumps and bruises of playing football, never complaining, you just kept focusing on your goal to go out there and be the best leader you can be. I am so proud of the man you are and I am so happy to see the smile on your face every time you get to go out there and throw that ball. Now, we are so happy that we get to have you home for a little while (well, at least until next season 😉) You have earned all your success!Te amo❤️
