This Spooky Dance Sweat Sesh Is Set to “Monster Mash,” “Thriller,” and More Creepy Classics

Kyra Provost is a pro at recording dance workouts to some of our favorite songs — after all, she goes by “Kyra Pro” on YouTube! Her most recent video is Halloween themed, and the spooky hits are extremely on point with the season: Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition” (as the warmup); Michael Jackson‘s “Thriller;” “Disturbia” by Rihanna; “Monster Mash” by Bobby Pickett; Ray Parker Jr.’s “Ghostbusters;” and, of course, “Haunted” by Beyoncé (as the cooldown). Major Halloween vibes right there.

The dance moves, like the classic songs they are set to, will not disappoint. Provost does sequences inspired by “Thriller” choreography, jumps and squats with monster claws, and punches to “Ghostbusters” (because you’re definitely not afraid of getting into a tussle with a ghost; not with those muscles of yours!). It’s all about increasing your heart rate, but many of the moves work the lower body and core as well. And, the “Haunted” stretching sequence is a spectacular (spook-tacular, we dare say) portion to finish up the workout.

For more Halloween fun from Provost, check out her Halloween dance session set entirely to Disney songs. That one is well worth your time, too, and it will get you into the spooky spirit.
