We learned last week that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis got to hang out with legendary natural historian David Attenborough in the gardens of Kensington Palace. It turns out, the photos that Prince William and Kate Middleton shared of that adorable event weren’t the only thing to come out of the interaction. This is truly the gift that keeps on giving: The Cambridge children made a video in which they asked Attenborough some questions about animals, and we get to hear their tiny voices!

Prince George asks his question first: “Hello David Attenborough, what animal do you think will become extinct next?”

Attenborough answered by saying he hopes no animal becomes extinct and shared a story about mountain gorillas. “About 40 years ago I was with some mountain gorillas in the center of Africa. Mountain gorillas were then very, very rare; there were only 250 of them left,” he said, before sharing that people around the world donated money to save the species, of which there are now about 1,000. “So you can save an animal if you want to and you put your mind to it,” he said.

Next, it was Charlotte’s turn: “Hello David Attenborough, I like spiders, do you like spiders too?

Attenborough responded that he shares Charlotte’s love of spiders. “Why it is people are so frightened of them?” He added that he thinks it’s because spiders have eight legs, and you never know which direction they’re going to move.

Correct, David Attenborough.

Louis, who turned 2 in April, got the last question. He took a deep breath and asked: “What animal do you like?”

Attenborough answered that monkeys are his favorite. Here’s the heartwarming exchange, in full:
