Kylie Jenner has made a generous donation to help hospitals fight coronavirus.

Beauty mogul Kylie Jenner has donated USD$1 million to help hospitals in Los Angeles as they fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

The donation was revealed by Jenner’s doctor, Dr. Thais Aliabadi, who took to Instagram to share the news. In a lengthy post, Aliabadi (who delivered Jenner’s daughter Stormi) wrote, “I am speechless, my eyes are filled with tears of joy and my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude. I made a wish to the universe to gather protective masks for our brave healthcare workers and today my dream came true. One of my patients, a beautiful Living Angel just donated $1,000,000 to help us buy hundreds of thousands of masks, face shields, and other protective gear which we will have delivered directly to our first responders, as too many masks at hospitals are disappearing before making their way onto the faces of our front line heroes.”

Aliabadi then went on to share how proud she felt to be a doctor right now, before revealing Jenner as the generous donor. “I have never felt more blessed to be a doctor, as helping our brave ER and ICU workers feels just as gratifying as helping my own patients. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU @kyliejenner. You are my hero. This generous donation will help save many precious lives. Our world is a better place with you in it. I love you so much. Thank you X a million.”

Jenner responded to the post, writing, “I love you! and thank YOU for all the love and care you put into everything that you do! you’re an angel on earth.”

Jenner has been vocal in encouraging her followers to follow medical and governmental advice to social distance and stay inside. Last week, Jenner took to Instagram to urge her followers to take coronavirus seriously after being called on by the Surgeon General. “I listened to the Surgeon General this morning, and even though I’ve already been doing my daily reminders [to self quarantine and practice social distancing], he definitely encouraged me to come on here and talk to you guys,” she said, adding, “Nobody is immune to this, millennials are not immune to this.”
