While tucked away at home online shopping seems hard to resist, so as we fill our carts with pieces that make us smile we’re looking to small local businesses for the best of the best. As some of our favourite boutiques close their doors in an effort to flatten the curve, we are doing what we can to support them. We’re rounded up five of our favourite pieces to buy online during self-isolation below – but even if there isn’t something you want to buy now, purchasing gift cards to shop later will help your favourite businesses stay strong during this unprecedented time.

It will be like a very wearable museum piece nestled in my closet and surely get lots of wear. The supremely stylish boutique Ewanika is a one-stop stop for special items like this woven hand bag. Classic pieces worthy of a self isolation splurge are easily found in their assortment.
If you remove the belt from this jumpsuit it is technically without a waistband so it fits the requirements for WFH fashion. The structured silhouette will look great layered over a white turtleneck or in warmer weather worn with chunky sandals.
A vintage find is always a thrill so having one delivered to your door is that much better. This black leather trench is the perfect transition piece and you won’t find it anywhere else.
This may be the only non-spring specific piece on my list but sometimes you just need a little comfort. Kotn’s loopback terry robe is ideal for staying at home and while on sale it may make sense to order a few extras to send in to your loved ones lieu of hugs during social distancing.
