A monumental thing happened in the Kardashian-West household: oldest child North West, 6, has begun to like her once-detested younger brother Saint West, 4. She detested him only because he is a boy who took away her only child status.
Their mother Kim Kardashian posted photo proof that the two are now…friends. Time, the ultimate reconciler. “They get along now,” Kim captioned the shots.
Kim explained back in October 2018 that initially, North really didn’t like Saint, even though he loved her and everyone. North was more accepting of Chicago West, her younger sister, because she’s a girl. Then along came little brother Psalm later, and North is now a big sister to three siblings.
But less than two years ago, Kim said, via People, that “North acts like an only child at all times. I think she’s a little confused. She’s beyond jealousy now. She’s just like, ‘It’s my world.’ She said to me the other day, ‘Mom…we just need to have another baby brother so that Saint can just leave me alone…so the girls can be on this side of the house and the boys can be on that side of the house.’”
North had a “No boys allowed” sign on her bedroom door at one point, Kim revealed, so that spot was brother-free. “She won’t even let Saint step foot in her room,” Kim said. Kim described Saint as “the nicest human being on the planet,” so his kindness did win out.
