The Kardashian-Jenner is a tight-knit group, and they like to poke fun at each others’ expense. Impersonating each other seems to be a favorite activity in the Kardashian household, and Kylie Jenner just posted her take on a Kris Jenner look.
“They call me ‘Lil Kris,'” she said in her Instagram post. In it, she wore an all-black ensemble with a tiny Prada purse and high-heeled boots. Her big shades were also a big statement piece of the outfit.
With this post, Jenner also could have been referring to the fact that she has her mom’s talent as an entrepreneur. In 2019, the 22-year-old owner of Kylie Cosmetics was officially the world’s youngest self-made billionaire.
When Jenner was on the cover of Forbes (for the second time) for this feat, she told the publication that she credits her success to her parents’ encouragement of her to make and save her own money.
“My parents told me I needed to make my own money, it’s time to learn how to save and spend your own money, stuff like that,” she said. “What I’m trying to say is I did have a platform, but none of my money is inherited.”
This ‘Lil Kris’ picture might just have been her way at getting back at her family for impersonating her on Keeping Up With the Kardashians in December 2019. As a family building exercise, Kourtney said on KUWTK, Kris suggested that everyone come dressed as another family member at dinner.
Kendall, in particular, took things pretty far in her impersonation of Kylie. She exaggerated Kylie’s approach of “overlining” her lips in a funny video in which she smeared lipstick all over her mouth. Again, all in good fun.
