Justin Bieber Announces His Comeback Single “Yummy,” New Album, and Upcoming Tour Dates

Justin Bieber was noticeably absent from the music scene this year—save for his appearances on Dan + Shay’s “10000 hours,” Ed Sheeran’s “I Don’t Care,” and Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy”—but that all changes come January 2020. In a new video posted to his YouTube channel, The Biebs announced he’s officially returning to music and detailed his already-packed 2020 schedule.

First up, Bieber is launching a docu-series slated to be released on December 31, which will likely chronicle the road to his comeback. “We all have different stories,” he said in the video. “I’m just excited to tell mine.”

Dancing on top of a worn-down truck, Bieber previewed snippets of his new music in the trailer, including his first comeback single “Yummy,” a bouncy, trap-inspired song that will debut on January 3, from his forthcoming, still-untitled album. Of all the music in his discography, Bieber said this new batch features the ones he “loves the most out of anything I’ve ever done.”

But he’s not done: The singer is plotting a lengthy North American tour that will kick off on May 14 and end deep in September.

“As humans we are imperfect,” Bieber said in the video. “My past, my mistakes, all the things that I’ve been through, I believe that I’m right where I’m supposed to be and God has me right where he wants me. I feel like this is different than the previous albums just because of where I’m at in my life.”
