Somehow, somewhere along the way, the most controversial moment of Obama’s presidency, a suit that lives in infamy, a one-man Easter Parade, is the least political thing you can bring up this holiday. You can yell about it, you can laugh about it, you can be befuddled by the tailoring. But it is resolutely resistant to political talk (but not stains, so keep the Beaujolais away from it). Just a regular, highly wildly scandalous suit from another time. Pass the cornbread, please. Non-politically.
