Here’s how to get your hands on it.

Beauty junkies, rejoice! Acclaimed celebrity makeup artist Gucci Westman’s eponymous makeup line, Westman Atelier, is coming to Canada this month.

The line will be stocked exclusively in Holt Renfrew (and on its website) and its appearance on shelves this month marks the first time the brand has been available on the ground in Canada.

In a release Westman described her vegan line saying, “I wanted to make clean products that would also meet my standards in terms of results. I believe there’s definitely space in the market for a luxury beauty brand that also speaks to wellness and integrity.”

The line features a curated edit of makeup essentials, designed to give a gorgeous, dewy glow and engineered to deliver skincare at the same time. This means the products are packed with plant-derived active ingredients (including Phytosphingosine, a plant extract identical to our own skin which has anti-inflammatory and anti-ageing benefits), as well as a technology called biomimicry pigment technology “which allows synthetic colour pigments to be encapsulated by cleaner ingredients in order that they are never able to come directly in contact with the skin.”

The brand notes that whilst it is free from parabens, phthalates, GMOs, mercury and various other chemical/synthetic properties, there are some synthetic ingredients used “where they are the more responsible choice.”

Holt Renfrew will also carry Le Box (pictured above), a curated box of essentials inspired by Westman’s long-time friend Gwyneth Paltrow’s enviable year-round glow. The box includes the Super Loaded Tinted Highlight in Peau de Soleil, the Baby Cheeks Blush in Petal and the Lit Up Highlight Stick.
