Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse are definitely back on. The couple had a date night in Los Angeles on Friday, even being so bold as to show some PDA.

“Cole and Lili are in a great place right now,” a source told E! News. “The two of them are very happy together. They’re getting along so well both on and off the set. They’re often openly affectionate and loving with one another.”

Back in July, reports of the two breaking up surfaced, though Reinhart and Sprouse hinted that that wasn’t the case. Both posted their W Magazine cover to Instagram with captions that debunked the rumor.

“BREAKING: A reliable source has confirmed that none of you know shit,” Reinhart wrote, while Sprouse posted, “UNPRECEDENTED: Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart consume the flesh of ‘reliable sources’ to fuel their bacchanalian sex cult.”

O.K., so maybe Reinhart’s was a little more straight-forward.

Still, sources told E! News that the couple did, in fact, take a break this summer, though they’re currently acting as if it “never happened.”

“Lili and Cole broke-up earlier this summer. The two are not living together this season,” an insider shared during the summer, adding that they were “intentionally keeping their distance from each other.”

“Right now, it’s unclear where things stand, but it seems [like] they could be heading back in the direction of getting together,” the source added.

The couple’s alleged break-up happened as filming for their show Riverdale started up, which perhaps helped to rekindle the flame. In September, Reinhart referred to Sprouse as her boyfriend during an interview, and the previous month she shared a poem on an Instagram in honor of his birthday.

“I tried to find a poem that I could send to you / Because my words were failing me,” she wrote. “But I searched and found nothing that did you justice / All of these love poems can’t get it right / No one else’s words could ever fit / They haven’t known the fortune it is to love you. -sappy nighttime birthday poem for @colesprouse.”
