If you dread that time of the month because your period causes painful cramps, Blogilates creator Cassey Ho shared five stretches you can do to get relief — all you need is a soft, comfy pillow. Hold these stretches for 30 seconds or longer:

  1. Lying butterfly
  2. Half pike
  3. Lying spinal twist
  4. Half camel
  5. Child’s pose

“Go slow and listen to your body,” Ho said. “I’ve noticed that being active in general has helped lessen my cramps. When I don’t move my body, it gets worse.” Here are the best workouts you can do during your period.
